SEWA

Eye: Bhagwan Mahaveer Hospital  has done more than 21,000 eye treatment including cataract operations. Villagers from more than 200kms. are taking benefit from our eye department.  Free eye checkup, medicines & glasses are distributed from time to time.

Dental: Dental ward is a boon for the Lachhuar & near by villagers. This was the major problem for the poor & needy facing malnutrition and different health problems due to dental disease. This ward is started less than 2 years old and has successfully treated more than 1000 patients  as on year 2016.

Cancer: This sometimes incurable disease is the biggest nightmare in this era of pesticides ridden foods and wrongly accepted habits of the villagers. Khaini, Tambaku, Gutka, Tobacco, Liquors are the common reason. Most of the times due to low availability of doctors and check up facilities people do not even recognize that they are affected with this disease.

Bhagwan Mahaveer Hospital has put up a low costly and effective Naturopathy  & Ayurvedic treatment  by our associated experienced Vaidyas to the needy patients.  More than 50 patients have been diagnosed and referred for further treatment to a more suitable and affordable place.  Special care and steps are taken to help the patients from time to time.

Orthopaedics: Daily OPD at BMH observes a good flow of patients. Under- privileged society who cannot afford expensive treatments at far away places and unapproachable medical facilities are mostly benefited.  In many cases it has been observed small damage of bones or ligaments  leads to permanent disability….. sometimes risking the person to their lives. More than 1,00,000 (One Lac) patients have been treated in OPD and given the best treatment possible.

Gyno: Ladies from the weaker section are treated here free. Post & Pro pregnancy problems are blissfully diagonised by our medical experts and given right treatment with best available resources. Special care has been taken to keep this section strong and we are moving ahead to improvise it with best of our resources.

SHIKSHA

With on-going development of hospital and amenities, Guru Shri Nityanand Shri Ji Maharajsaheb inspired to uplift the new generation of the village Lachhuar. The kids from the under privileged society who had lesser options were either straying around, seeking pennies from piligrims, fighting each other for no reason and at last forced to child labour. With the kind blessings of Gurudev Shri Nityanand Ji Maharasaheb we started to choose children from the weakest section and started giving them basic education. We started from few kids. Now with our positive and continous efforts keeping the cause and quality in mind today more than 150 students are being fully sponsored for academics, dress, bags, books and other amenities. When we talk about quality, we keep in mind the overall development of the kids. We organise extra curricular activities from time to time. Yoga classes, drawing competition, sports etc. Lachhuar Mahotsav 2016 is the most recent mass activity we did. Kids most willingly participated and showed their talent. The excitement of participating on stage first time was seen their enthusiasm.

SWAWLAMBAN

Though we were continuously progressing towards our mission SEWA & SIKSHA but it always seemed incomplete. Something was always seen missing. Then our inspiration and mentor Pujya Gurudev Shri Nityanand Shri Ji Maharasaheb gave us the way SWAWLAMBAN. He said our mission of overall development of an under privileged society is always incomplete if do not focus in any of these keywords SEWA, SIKSHA & SWAWLAMBAN.
When we speak about SWAWLAMBAN first thing came to our mind was women empowerment. No society can flourish if the women are avoided or left behind. Our Stiching unit is playing a major role in achieving our goal. More than 1000 Girls and ladies have been trained free of cost at our stitching department. More than 75 Sewing machines have been donated and distributed to the real needy ones. Now most of them are earning almost 200/- daily. These beneficiaries are now not depending on their families for their daily basic needs. The best part is these odd females are now contributing to meet expenses of their family.

In connection we are now looking forward to analyze the hidden talent of the kids who are part of our Siksha Abhiyaan. Team of experts volunteers are continously visiting the institute from Kolkata. They teach and counsel the kids and help them explore their hidden talents.
